We require candidates with the following:

• Knowledge and understanding of NHS operational and performance data
  • Although we value and welcome people from other sectors, the time frame for delivery will not allow us to train people on how the NHS operates.
  • Knowledge of wait time targets and general understanding of concepts such as utilisation are key.

AND/OR

• Knowledge and experience with Cerner Millennium core data tables
  • We are looking for people who have experience with the underlying Cerner tables, this can be SQL or CCL experience. This is NOT the PIEDW database.

Also:

• Qlik BI Development Experience
  • Strong skills in both or one of Qlikview or Qliksense.
  • NPrinting skills would be good too but not essential
• SQL Experience
  • MSSQL primarily however there may also be a small requirement to use Oracle SQL.
  • We are working in Azure so experience there is useful but not essential as the database is MSSQL and behaves the same as on prem.

The projects that need completing are:

• Data Quality Dashboard (High Priority)
  • Design and deliver the front end application including core datasets based on a set number of predefined KPI’s.
  • Develop and add new KPI’s during the programme as the candidate discovers areas that should be included bu have been omitted from the initial list.
• Outpatient Utilisation Datasets (Medium Priority)
  • Stress test existing coding for clinic utilisation
  • Further develop and take to production clinical look up tool.
  • Integrate clinic utilisation reporting in to existing production reports.
• HR Datasets (can start later in the programme)
  • Work with the ESR integration team to import and ‘unpack’
